Bus Route Cancelation Schedule

Amador County Unified School District (ACUSD) is facing an ongoing bus driver shortage that has led to the daily cancellation of multiple bus routes this school year. To reduce last-minute disruptions, the district will implement a predictable cancellation schedule starting March 31. The new schedule will cancel each route approximately once every four days on a rotating basis, giving families more time to arrange alternate transportation.

Key details:

  • The schedule takes effect on March 31.
  • Special education routes will continue to operate daily and are not affected.
  • Cancellations will rotate evenly across the district’s 12 regular bus routes to avoid overburdening any single route.
