Ione Elementary Challenge Coins
Mr. Huss, Principal of Ione Elementary, presented an ACUSD Challenge Coin to Carla Cantwell (instructional aide), Diane Baszler (cafeteria staff member), Mary Kirkwood-Yates (cafeteria staff member), Makenna Cabri (teacher), and Congetta Davie (teacher).
Ione Junior High Challenge Coins
Mrs. Becerra, Principal of Ione Jr. High School, presented an ACUSD Challenge Coin to Dylan Jarman (teacher), Athena Orlando (long-term substitute), Christy Watson (teacher), Chrystle Woods (long-term substitute), and Susana Flores (counselor).
Jackson Elementary Challenge Coins
Mrs. Gravette, Principal of Jackson Elementary, presented an ACUSD Challenge Coin to Paula Cahill (teacher), Denae Mertin (teacher), Nikki Silveira (teacher), Kelly Boerio (instructional aide), and Donna McDermott (instructional aide).

Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA)
- The board heard an update on the draft SELPA local plan. This item was informational only, and no board action was taken.
- The board reviewed a special education staffing update. This item was informational only, and no board action was taken.
- The board heard an update regarding Compliance and Improvement Monitoring (CIM). This item was informational only, and no board action was taken.
- The board heard an update regarding the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) conference. This item was informational only, and no board action was taken.
Amador County Unified School District (ACUSD)
- The board approved the Second Interim Budget Certification.
- The board approved the 3-year contract with Christy White, Inc. for auditing services.
- The board approved the 2024 – 2026 Teachers College of San Joaquin, Co-Sponsor Agreement – Impact Intern Program.
- The board approved a board policy update from the Special Education Department.
Amador County Office of Education (ACOE)
- The board approved the Second Interim Budget Revisions.
- The board approved the Second Interim Budget Certification.
- The board approved the 3-year contract with Christy White, Inc. for auditing services.
The next meeting will be held on April 17th, scheduled to be held at the Amador County Administration Building, 810 Court St., Jackson, CA. Open session will begin at 6:30 pm. Board agendas can be viewed here.
