The LCAP is a three-year plan that describes the goals, actions, services, and expenditures to support positive student outcomes that address state and local priorities. The LCAP provides an opportunity for local educational agencies (LEAs) to share their stories of how, what, and why programs and services are selected to meet their local needs. We are currently holding engagement meetings to prepare for the development of our 2021-2024 LCAP plan. Below is information for community members to take part in the planning process.
LCAP and Strategic Plan Alignment
A working group of district and county educational partners collaborated in Spring 2022 to create a three-year Strategic Plan and related action plans which were Board approved in June 2022. The objectives and strategies which make up our Strategic Plan are as follows:

Career & College
We will increase the number of students successfully completing career technical education (vocational) and college-prep courses by 100%.
Health
All students will demonstrate improvement in their social, emotional, and physical health.
Academics
All students will advance along multiple academic measures toward meeting and exceeding standards in order to close achievement gaps and accelerate progress.
Connection
All students will show an increase in positive school engagement and connectedness with staff, peers, and the community.

COVID-19 Operations Written Report
Given the uncertainties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact California’s response has had on a local educational agency’s (LEA’s) ability to meaningfully engage with educational partners, Executive Order N-56-20 was established. This Executive Order extended the deadline for the adoption of the 2020–21 Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) from July 1, 2020, to December 15, 2020.
Instead, Executive Order N-56-20 requires that all LEAs complete this COVID-19 Operations Written Report to explain the changes to program offerings that the LEA has made in response to school closures to address the COVID-19 emergency, the major impacts of such closures on students and families, and a description of how the LEA is meeting the needs of its unduplicated students.
The COVID-19 Operations Written Report was approved by the ACUSD and ACOE Board of Trustees on June 24, 2020.
