Elementary School Boundary Changes

The elementary school boundary changes, approved by the school board on January 15, 2025, will go into effect at the start of the 25/26 school year. This change will affect eight areas of our county.

New Students:

If you are enrolling your student for the 2025/2026 school year, please take note of the boundary changes, as they may affect the school in which you will enroll your student. 

All students starting in 25/26 school year – please use this map to check your address

All students starting in 24/25 school year – please use this map to check your address

Current Students:

Students currently enrolled in an affected school may choose to:

  • Stay at their current school, or
  • Transfer to the school corresponding to the new boundary

Intra-district transfers will be granted for students staying at their current school, though they will be considered out-of-boundary under the new guidelines.

Enrollment

The following information is required to finalize enrollment. However, you are invited to start the enrollment process with what you have available now.  Homeless, Foster, or Unaccompanied Youth should contact their school site to enroll.

  • A valid address within school district boundaries
  • Proof of Residence (Lease/Rental Agreement or utility bill)
  • Immunization Records
  • Birth Certificate
  • Last report card/transcript (Grades 9 – 12 only)
  • 504 Plan/IEP
  • Court Order of Custody or Restraining Order
  • Local physician name and phone number

Transitional Kindergarten (TK) & Kindergarten Enrollment

Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year opens on January 28, 2025.

Families are encouraged to attend our TK/K Enrollment events on Tuesday, February 4, 2025! Click here for more information. 

Transitional Kindergarten (TK)

For students whose fourth birthday is on or before September 1. 

Kindergarten

For students whose fifth birthday is on or before September 1. Please bring a legal birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency.  Registration is ongoing after the designated dates. We encourage early sign-ups!

 

Vaccinations

California schools are required to check immunization records for all new student admissions. Visit the Health Services page for more information

Medication

If your student is required to take medication during the school day, please provide the following forms:

  • Parent/Physician Request to Assist Administration of Medication – a form provided, completed, and signed by the student’s physician
  • Consent to Self-Administration of Medication – required only if a student uses an inhaler or injected epinephrine

A student cannot be enrolled until all required paperwork is received.
