Amador County State Preschool Program is a State-subsidized half-day program at four sites in the county. Our preschool mission is to provide highly qualified learning experiences to eligible three- and four-year-olds with a core curriculum that is culturally, developmentally, and linguistically appropriate. Breakfast is provided.
The ACOE Expanded Learning Opportunities Program offers after-school childcare options for families in Amador County. ELOP provides a fun and engaging learning environment that focuses on the enrichment of students through learning opportunities surrounding Art, Physical Fitness, Socialization, Nutrition, and all things STEM.
Transitional Kindergarten (TK)
For students whose fourth birthday is on or before September 1.
Kindergarten
For students whose fifth birthday is on or before September 1. Please bring a legal birth certificate, immunization records, and proof of residency. Registration is ongoing after the designated dates. We encourage early sign-ups!
Enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year opens on January 28, 2025.

If your student is required to take medication during the school day, please provide the following forms:

The 27th Annual Celebrate Our Children Festival, hosted by Amador Child Care Council, is coming up on Saturday, April 26!
RSVP to the event on Facebook to stay in the loop about all of the fun activities planned for the festival.
Our Early Childhood Family Nights give our local families with young children an opportunity to connect with early childhood resources and learn ways to make learning fun at home! These events will take place at elementary schools across the district throughout the 2024/2025 school year (dates and locations listed below). Light snacks will be provided.
