CAASPP Testing and Student Score Reports

CAASPP Testing and Student Score Reports

Overview

Dear Families and Students,
Last spring, despite the pandemic, we were required to administer shortened versions of the California Assessments of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) to all 3rd-8th and 11th graders. Additionally, 5th, 8th, and 12th-grade students took the California Science Test (CAST). If your student was in the 3rd- 8th, 11th-grade last year, their results are available in the Aeries parent portal.
In order to access your student’s results, you must have an Aeries parent portal account. If you currently do not have one, please follow the steps outlined on our district’s parent portal webpage for creating an account. Once on your student’s page, you will be able to find their results under Test Scores in the State Test Scores Reports tab. The test is identified as the CAASPP or CAST.

Every spring, students in grades 3-8 and 11 participate in the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP). It includes three types of mandated tests: Smarter Balanced Assessments, California Alternate Assessments, and California Science Assessments. The Smarter Balanced Assessments are in English language arts and mathematics.

California School Dashboard

The California School Dashboard (Dashboard) is an online tool that shows how local educational agencies and schools are performing on the state and local indicators included in California’s school accountability system. The Dashboard is a key part of major shifts in California K-12 schools, changes that have raised the bar for student learning, transformed testing, and placed the focus on equity for all students. The California School Dashboard provides parents and educators with meaningful information on school and district progress so they can participate in decisions to improve student learning.
