Pioneer Elementary Staff Awarded Challenge Coins
Reye Hamlin, Kayla Reeder, and Stephanie Davis were recognized with ACUSD Challenge Coins by Principal Patty Horn.
Educational Options Staff Awarded Challenge Coins
Melinda Green & Chris Garbarini were recognized with ACUSD Challenge Coins by Principal Matt Medellin.
Adult Education Staff Awarded Challenge Coins
Toccara Shepherd was recognized with an ACUSD Challenge Coin by Principal Diana Griffin.
Argonaut Staff Awarded Challenge Coins
Matt Gough, Robin Yelinek, Michael Garcia, Michaelynn Angie, Jared Carson, Clarissa Bellotti, Matt King, and Katie Varni were recognized with ACUSD Challenge Coins by Principal Kelly Hunkins.
EastShore Consulting Provided an Informational Presentation Regarding Sales Taxes
Mr. Green from EastShore Consulting provided information regarding sales taxes for school districts as a source of funding.
From the agenda:
- The board approved moving the June 19, 2024 board meeting to June 18, 2024, due to a federal holiday on June 19.
- The board approved the Second Interim Budget Revisions.
- The Second Interim Budget Certification was pulled from the agenda for revisions.
- The board approved the Application for Exemption from the Required Expenditures for Classroom Teachers’ Salaries.
- The board approved the Department of General Services Donation (DGS) Donations Application.
- The board approved the Extended School Year waiver.
- The board did not pass ACUSD Resolution 2023/2024-12 – Intention to Terminate Certificated Employees due to a Reduction of Particular Kinds of Services.
- The board approved ACUSD Resolution 2023/2024-13 – Determination of Tie-Breaking Criteria.
- The board did not pass ACUSD Resolution 2023/2024-10 – Reduction of Classified School Services for the 2024-2025 School Year.
The next meeting will be held on March 27th, scheduled to be held at the Amador County Administration Building, 810 Court St., Jackson, CA. Open session will begin at 6:30 pm. Board agendas can be viewed here.
