Ione Elementary Challenge Coins
Mr. Huss, principal of Ione Elementary School, presented ACUSD Challenge Coins to Todd Ohm, Samme McMahan, Carol Muschetto, and Will Stothart.
Ione Junior High School Challenge Coins
Mr. Wagner, principal of Ione Junior High School, presented ACUSD Challenge Coins to Sheri Gempler, Christy Watson, Kobie Pettis-Encinas, and Monty Wright.
Plymouth Elementary CCSPP Grant Award Celebration
Plymouth Elementary has been awarded $1.18 million over five years to enhance support for staff, students, and families as part of the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) Implementation Grant. Members of the Plymouth Elementary Community Advisory Team, including staff, students, and families, presented an overview of the grant, shared Plymouth’s goals, and expressed their enthusiasm for its implementation over the next five years.
From the Agenda
ACUSD:
- The board approved the Application for Exemption from the Required Expenditures for Classroom Teachers' Salaries.
- The board approved the Fiscal Stabilization Plan.
- The board approved Resolution ACUSD 2024/2025-15 - 2025/2026 Tax Revenue Anticipation Note.
- The board approved the Service Agreement CCSPP - Post-Award Services Agreement with Education Research Consulting.
- The board approved the Memorandum of Understanding for the Preliminary Administrative Services Credential Program.
- The board approved the Memorandum of Understanding for the IMPACT Intern Teaching Credential Program.
- Mrs. Horn, assistant superintendent of Educational Services, provided a presentation about the curriculum pilot and adoption process. This was a discussion-only item, so no board action was taken.
ACOE:
- The board approved the Fiscal Stabilization Plan.
- The board approved Resolution ACOE 2024/2025-08 2025/2026 - Tax Revenue Anticipation Note.
- The board approved the Resource Portal proposal.
The next meeting will be held on April 16, 2025, scheduled to be held at the Amador County Administration Building, 810 Court St., Jackson, CA. The ACUSD Board Meeting will begin at 6:30 pm. Board agendas and minutes can be viewed here.
