The ACUSD/ACOE Community Newsletter is a weekly communication from the Amador County Unified School District and Amador County Office of Education. The purpose of this newsletter is to keep our families, staff, and community members informed about our district!

District News & Announcements
No School Monday
There is no school on Monday in observance of Labor Day. Due to the Monday holiday, Wednesday, September 4th, will follow the normal day bell schedule. It will not be an early release day.

Early Childhood Family Nights
We're hosting six Early Childhood Family Nights this school year to provide parent education on state preschool, TK, First 5, and The Resource Connection. Light snacks will be available.

Families can learn about resources for children in preschool through kindergarten and engage in activities to make learning at home fun!

The first Family Night will be held on Wednesday, September 11, from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at Jackson Elementary.

School Board Updates
The next School Board meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 18, at the Amador County Administration Center located at 810 Court St. Jackson, CA 95642. Open Session begins at 6:30 p.m.

Jackson Elementary Gets Blacktop Refresh
Jackson Elementary staff and students say "Thank you" to JUSTAP and Jackson Rancheria for the incredible improvements made around their campus during the summer!

Plymouth Summer Reading Program
Over the summer, Plymouth Elementary had a Summer Reading Program. Roughly 20 kids participated in the reading program and they celebrated their accomplishments with an ice cream party last Friday!
