The ACUSD/ACOE Community Newsletter is a weekly communication from the Amador County Unified School District and Amador County Office of Education. The purpose of this newsletter is to keep our families, staff, and community members informed about our district!

FFA Drive Through Dinner Flyer
Amador County FFA Drive Thru Dinner
Amador County FFA is holding a Drive Thru Dinner fundraiser.

📅 October 9, 2024
🕒 Pickup between 5:00 - 7:00 pm
📍 Amador or Argonaut HS

The price is $50 and will feed four people.

Dinner includes pork loin, baked potatoes, bread, and salad.

Free Health Fair
Amador County Public Health is holding a health fair on Saturday, September 21, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Italian Picnic Grounds!

There will be free drive-through and walk-up flu shots, health screenings, community resources, and fun games for children, just to name a few.

School Board Updates

The next School Board meeting will take place on October 9, 2024, at the Amador County Administration Center located at 810 Court St. Jackson, CA 95642. Open Session begins at 6:30 p.m.

Ione El. Students Attend 9/11 Memorial
Students participated in a walking field trip to attend the annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at the Ione Fire Station. Each student received a patriotic ribbon and left with a strengthened sense of community pride.

Jackson Elementary students attended a Mad Science assembly on Friday. They got to watch and participate in exciting experiments with a spooky twist!

Introducing our newest school bus driver, Brandon St Clair! Mr. St Clair has finished all rounds of driver training courses and officially passed his behind-the-wheel test with CHP.
